Anti‐Wrinkle Injectables

BOTOX, Dysport® and XEOMIN® all work by temporarily relaxing muscles that are associated with wrinkles. When you squint or frown, the muscles between your brows contract, causing the skin to furrow and fold. Worry lines and other forehead wrinkles appear smoother when a skilled provider injects these treatments into specific areas.

Dermal Fillers

Dr. Colville offers a range of aesthetic fillers to restore age‐related volume loss, creating a smoother, more youthful appearance. These fillers include the JUVÉDERM® and Restylane® product lines, including injectable gels designed specifically for lip augmentation. Dr. Colville can help you choose the filler or fillers that are best‐suited for your concerns.

KYBELLA^®

KYBELLA is the first and only non‐surgical treatment approved by the FDA to reduce submental fat, the localized fat under the chin responsible for the appearance of a double chin. Nicknamed the “double chin injection,” KYBELLA treatments involve several shots per treatment session. A non‐surgical alternative to neck liposuction, KYBELLA works by using deoxycholic acid, a chemical naturally produced by the body to assist in processing dietary fat. When it’s injected, KYBELLA destroys fat cells under the chin. CoolSculpting® with the CoolMini™ applicator is another non‐surgical option for treating a double chin.

Most patients get the desired results after 2 to 4 treatments, but up to 6 treatment sessions are possible. Because the fat cells are destroyed, the treatment is considered permanent, and additional injections aren’t required. The recovery period is brief, with swelling, bruising, and redness diminishing within a couple of days of the procedure.

Laser Hair Removal

Unwanted hair can be removed using laser energy. It’s most effective for people who have light skin and dark hair because the laser beam targets the pigment (melanin) in the hair. Advances in technology have made laser hair removal an option for people who have darker skin.

• Treatment areas: Laser hair removal is safe for use just about anywhere you have unwanted hair. Common treatment areas include the upper lip, underarms, forearms, shoulders, back, bikini area, and legs.
• Number of sessions: Because hair grows in phases, multiple treatments are needed for optimal results. Most patients need 4 to 6 treatments each spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart. The actual number of sessions needed depends on the treatment area, density of hair, and other factors. Additional maintenance treatments can be done as needed.
